I think something is up that goes beyond homework. But as others have said, rape is about violence and control, not sex. People who rape are people who get a rush from humiliating and dominating someone...and most men are not that kind of person....and some woman are.
There is a small percentage of disturbed men and women out their who are full of hate and anger or just don't have much if any conscience. They would likely be ten times more dangerous if they had not fear of the consequences....which is too often the situation in for in families, times of war or in disasters, and in prisons. Don't forget that boys and men are also subject to being raped, and if raped, suffer just as much as female rape victims.

wow that is a deep question....am a girl and i want to answer that question...i think its not fair to include just guys...women rape ...you just don't hear about it because most men are ashame to report it just like they are ashame of reporting domestic violence when a woman hits them. If i thought i could get away with raping depending on how fine the guy was i would do it. If he was ugly but had something to offer me in the long run...i would wait for him to sober up and just deal with him that way but if he was drop dead fine and pissey drunk and i knew in a million years he would never date me or have me..........i would rape him...plain and simple....sure i might not get caught by the cops am quite sure in some other form i would be punished but at least i had him for one night...most people would probably say am sick...but am not...am just being real....now if he was not drunk i don't think i could lol....

You should drop the class ... you're not going to learn anything worth while there. Rape, the ultimate violation and expression of absolute power over a weaker individual, is an example of complete degradation of ethical dogma and abandonment of personal morality, regardless of whether or not you can get away with it!

most men (including myself) would rather a woman be into it than fearing for her life. im sure some people would, but definately not most.
one of the previous answers mentioned men being raped by women. the reason it never gets reported is because men would love it if a woman grabbed them and started to have sex with him. this only applies to decent-looking women though. if it was some nasty looking chick i dont think it would even work.

I can not speak for others but I know I would not...if sexual release is all I am after I have two hands...I am not a violent person and I am under the impression (wrongly or not) that rape is an act of violence more so than an act of a sexual nature.

Um, I don't remember learning that in my sociology.. Wow! from what I understand is that givin the chance it is more that guys would rather fantasize about it than act it out.
Men want women to want them, all else are just fantasies with no intention on acting them out.

No way!! You should take a close look at where you get your information because your assumptions have no factual basis. The man that you portray here is a sociopath and I don't think that most men are sociopaths.

No. Like women, men can have rape fantasies. It's a fetish that i'm not particularly into. Irregardless of just how clean the crime could be, forced sex doesn't arouse me.

Rape is a crime of violence, not lust.
For your statement to be true, you assume that "most guys" feel violence toward women.
I do not believe this to be the case.
