Just one time would you like to see an umpire knock a manager on his ***?
Every time I see a manager screaming in an umpire's face, I wish he would just deck the guy, consequences be damned.
It would at least make the game more interesting.

No, I would not. The umpires are NOT part of the game, they are part of the framework, and they need to maintain some appearance of impartiality and dignity.
First umpire to do this would, from me, get a 30-day suspension. Second one gets fired. Third one gets fired without pension, as does every one after that.
And that would work really well, because umpires ARE replaceable. And they learned that the hard way.
If you need this sort of idiocy to make the game more interesting, you're watching the wrong sport. Go find some football or pro "wrestling", where you can download the script ahead of time, read it (no long words), and then only look up for the "interesting" parts.

I agree with Chip... the umpires are there to call the game, not be the main focus. Some umpires forget that people are their to see the players and teams, not the umpires.

lol, yeah sometime, that would be fricking hillarious,lol ! but i agree also, the umps, should not be the focus of the game, the players should be !
( maybe just see an ump, push a manger back hard,lol )
