I wear smart trousers with a shirt and tie to work all the time by my own choice but not with a suit. I like wearing a suit but I only have 2 suits and only wear them for a special occasion, i.e. job interview, funeral, wedding.

Someone mentioned suits are expensive which is one factor why I don't wear them unless its a special occasion. You can't just stick them in the washing machine either, they need to be taken to dry cleaners which is further time, effort and expense to add.

However I love to wear a well fitted tailored suit, it feels great in fact. If I had the time and money to pay for it all or someone who did it all for me I would wear a suit every day. Like yourself I also don't understand why so many men hate wearing a tie though. A nice quality silk tie looks great and is nice to touch and it always seems to appeal to women. Men often say about it being to tight and uncomfortable etc but I find it very comfortable and a nice feeling to have a tie tight round my crisp shirt collar.

All the things you mentioned about it being sexy and attractive for you are exactly how I feel in a suit and tie. I like the smart image and the confidence it brings me plus it shows an effort has been made.

I think there is no problem in a women expecting a man to wear a suit, however she should wear a nice skirt suit and heels etc, us men like that too!

I like wearing suits, don't like ties. I usualy wear a clip on so I can take it off when no one is around. It's pretty obvious women like them. However I will put this question to you, why do most women wear pantsuits now when they know a skirt or dress does the same for them?. Theres nothing better than a skirt and a set of spikes, If you want to impress that is money in the bank.

I really enjoy wearing a suit and tie because it makes me feel confident and I like the way it looks. However, ties can get uncomfortable and when its hot, a heavy wool suit can be brutal to walk around the city in

I dress for whatever the occasion requires.

At work, my colleagues wear t-shirts, jeans or trainers but I prefer a shirt and tie, trousers and proper shoes.

During the holiday periods when I am working on my own, I'll dress down because it usually involves a lot of messy work.

I don't know why some guys just don't want to make the effort.

I like wearing a shirt and tie at work( I roll up my sleeves to just below the elbow), on dates, or when I just want to dress UP. But a coat is out of the question, I don't even own one. I don't like wearing a jacket when it's cold or covering up with blankets. So, for me it's a comfort issue, coats just aren't comfortable.

I will wear whatever is comfortable as often as I can, and that is never a suit and tie.

But should the occasion demand it, I look nifty in a suit and tie.

I can bear a suit, but a tie is a horrid thing to have to wear, its tied up tight to your neck and feels constrictive.

also its a totally pointless thing, i mean what is a tie for? its not like a scarf or even a cravat which could keep you warm, its like a useless dangly bit of cloth.

I dunno about other guys but for me, when I put on a suit and tie, it's usually cause I have to for something formal. So to me, wearing a that seems almost more like a chore. And they're expensive too.

don't mind wearing a suit but a tie ( unless it is a string or bola style ) when properly worn reminds me of a " hangman's noose " and I personally hate anything tight around my neck.
