Well, it sounds like "Track Ahead" is the place in Missouri !!

Since you asked about ONLINE... The primary source I've used for my N-Scale work is Walthers : http://www.walthers.com/

For about 50% of my track track (including flex), I've used Atlas : http://www.atlasrr.com/

Kato doesn't permit online sales to the public, only to retailers.

Here in the Bay Area, California... I use J&M Hobbies in San Carlos on Laurel Avenue. They also will get you any special orders you need. (invaluable for Peco Switches, MicroTrains, Kadee, etc).
