well u can have great video editing software and not be able to use it if u dont have a good graphics card. hardware is much more important. make sure the cpu is just as powerful as the graphics card.

I'm a video and photo editor.

You want a good processor, and a large amount of RAM. At least 1024 for right now, maybe consider even more.

Dual-core processors are starting to become much more useful, I'd consider purchasing one if I were you.

Then move on to software. You need a capable computer before you can run the software. And even though Adobe is awesome, there are times when basic programs can do much more than you think.

Video editing relies less on your video card and more on your processor. The better the CPU you have, the more quickly you'll process video. When people refer to your video card, they're thinking about 3D rendering which is great if you're doing 3D movies, but for standard video editing a standard video card/chipset will get the job done. Just make sure you have a good CPU and plenty of memory to speed things up.

Hardware is more important.
Better CPU and RAM memory will be able to fasten the process of video editing.

Editing software has to be equally important.Without it there can be mistakes.

Though both are equally important, you need to have better hardware. For graphics, remember, more memory, more processing power, better graphic card are essentials.

FLV is a field record for video clips. that's fairly complicated yet there isn't something which could "import" those video clips immediately as they incorporate many streams. you may desire to have the potential to apply some thing like VDubMod to extract each and each individual flow and import it to action picture Maker that way, yet i'm unsure.
