Here's the cellular respiration half of the comparison. You can find the photosynthesis information in your textbook very easily.

1. All cells carry on cellular respiration.
2. Since all cells conduct respiration, cells found in all locations can do this process.
3. Reactants are glucose and oxygen.
4. Products are carbon dioxide and water (and ATP energy).
5. Energy required is the energy found in the bonds of glucose. Two ATP of activation energy is also required to get the whole process started.
6. The purpose of cellular respiration is to break down molecules of glucose in order to release energy to make ATP for the cell to use.
7. Energy is released from the glucose during respiration.
8. C6H12O6 + 6 O2 --> 6 CO2 + 6 H20 (+ ATP energy)
9. Anaerobic respiration is fermentation: lactic acid fermentation and alcoholic fermentation. The other type of respiration uses oxygen and is referred to as aerobic respiration.

photosynthesis is a anabolic process ie.building up. Photosynthesis takes place in chlorophyll pigments present in cell organelle called plastid in palisade parenchyma of the leaf.The raw materials r water(12 molecules) nd carbondioxide(6 mol) nd it takes place in the presence of sunlight nd chlorophyll resulting in the formation of glucose, carbondioxide(6mol) nd water(6 mol).it takes place in 2 phases-light reaction nd dark reaction.

respiration is a catabolic process ie.breaking up.Its 2 types r aerobic(oxygen present) nd anaerobic(oxy absent) respiration.the 1st step of aerobic resp take place in the cytoplasm wher glucose is converted 2 pyruvate nd this process is called as glycolysis nd this pyruvate in the 2nd step gets converted into carbon dioxie,water nd energy.this is called as kreb's cycle nd take place in the mitochondria in the presence of oxygen.entire anaerobic resp take place in cytoplasm ,the 1st step is same in the 2nd step pyruvate gets converted into ethanol or lactic acid,water nd energy
