If you have and i-pod + i-tunes, when you plug in your i-pod it brings up that screen that checks for updates. And on the left hand side it says Library, Store, Playlists, and Devices. Mine does not bring up that screen and check for updates and it doesn't say devices and have my i-pod under it. i TRIPLE checked and it is plugged in on both ends.(to my moniter and i-pod) I just bought a song and now it won't download. Whats wrong with it? My dad worked and tried to fix it for over an hour last night, please help!!

on top of your nano is a type of shuffle button. try pushing it side to side while the nano is plugged in. it may have to be reset. hope this helps

Try re-booting your computer first. Make sure the ipod is out of the port. Then try it again. Let the computer update the i-tunes.

confident, you will get carry of iTunes on your laptop or pc to load song. iPods does no longer artwork like known MP3 gamers the place you could only drag the song data in. After downloading and setting up iTunes, plug on your iPod and initiate dragging songs into iTunes first. And from iTunes then you definately can drag the songs into your iPod. desire this helps.

Take the song, and drag and drop it.
Or check everything in your itunes that u want, and hit sync.

the EXACT same thing happens to me. i dont know whats wrong, but for mine itz because my USB cables are junk..but i dont know whats wrong with yours..so i just go to a friends house to get songs!! lol
