yea, u can charge ur ipod shuffle on a windows 98 computer and it wont wipe out the memory. even if there is itunes it still wont wipe it out

yes u can an no it wont. I have a shuffle at work at leave it charging at night on my xp pro machine. all it needs is a usb 2.0 slot for charging. windows will detect the drive but will not overwrite it unless u have itunes on that machine but just answer no to the pop-up

Ya you can charge it on windows or mac it really doesn't matter and theres a really cool thing that you plug into the wall so that if you're ipod runs out of battery's you plug the thing into you're ipod and it will charge it.
