they found out that i was talking to my friends friend that i didnt know on IM and i got the email/SN from my friend so i knew that my friend knew the person and they said as long as this person knows your friend then its alright to talk to them...

We didn't have computers when I was a kid. My daughter on the other hand, checked my grand daughters computer and found that she was on a site that was inappropriate .She installed a program which blocked certain sites. Since she had waned Emma not to get involved in certain chat rooms, and the program cost almost $62,00 including tax, Emma will have to contribute half the cost out of her weekly allowance over a period of a year or more if necessary. If that doesn't work, the computer will be off limits except to do research
for school with supervision. No nonsense.

When I was a kid I remember all the neighbours coming round to watch the Queens coronation on our black and white T V as we were the only family in the road to have one. So I suppose the answer to your question is no, computers were just science fiction then.

when I was a kid, computers were just starting to be used in businesses......heck - we didn't even have microwave ovens or cell phones yet.... life was good then. :-)

no they havent, because i delete the history! just hit the clock up there ^^^ and then left click and delete everything!
