I put in a Proform with noisey stamped on it can not even hear it I want to here it a block away

Straight cut gears will be loulder. But Why? Trying to scare off LS-2 Pontiac GTO's like mine? I know put a louldspeaker and microphone next to the timing gears and amplify the sound cheeper and same performance. Just Kidding

drain the oil out of the motor and the rear end - that will noisy things up a bit

or maybe a ford power steering pump - those are pretty loud when the get old.

why fake the noise with your timing gears when you could put a real huffer on the thing?

Grind a few teeth off the gears you have. That will make some noise.
