I measure 35.5" across the chest, the weird thing is, if I followed the bra sizing standards I should be a 34A or B, but even a 34B makes my bust spill over, a 34C is on the other hand,ok, but a little bit loose in the cup, better than the B atleast...my back measures 29...and even with a 34 it rides up after some time.

it's also weird and makes no sense that they claim that ,a 36B for eg, is equal in cup size to a 34C....
they should have odd sizes as well, like 31,32,33,34,35...etc, that way a 33C would be a perfect size for me! don't u guys think because we women are all built differently and have different bodies we should have odd sizes for bras to ensure a much better fit and a more accurate way to measure the bust for a bra?
I'd love to have my own lingerie shop someday!

i dunno my breasts are weird maybe...lol...36 around the bust is supposed to be a 34B but 34B cups make my chest spill out (and i'm 35.5 on the bust as i said). i've tried most brands :( n victoria's secret is beyond my budget, i'm still in college. i usually use wacoal.

Girl I agree with you. It all sounds silly but somehow it works. Even though you measure at the specifics, each bra is made differently. You need to find the perfect bra for your breast. Once you do this, buy as many bras that you can find. The next time you go shopping it may be discontinued. Good Luck.

since it rides up its too small go up to a 36 around. and try a b cup or go in to a place like victoria secrets or fredricks of hollywood and get properly sized they will even help you find the right bras for you. not all bras in the size you wear are for you.

your a 35.5 round up to the next size not down. go up a size and try it. you dont have to buy the bra at victoria secrets just get sized its free i go every six months. i am a 37 .5 so i wear a 38. it never rides up and the cups dont over flow try it

I dont know if your using this sizing method but it might work better for you. Measure your torso aroung the ribs where your bra band would go. Take that number and round it it to the nearest whole number then measure a little higher around the fullest part of your breasts, what it the difference between the numbers... 1inch =A ... 2inchs=B...3inch= C... and so on. Maybe this can help you find a better bra

i have the same problem, i finally went to belks dept. store they measured me. i am a 34c, i bra fits well, the other will do. but i still have problems with the straps falling off my shoulders when i work, i am a pharamacy tech so i move alot. i actually think i am going to take a freinds advice and go to lane bryant, no i am not a big girl 5'2 126# and 44 to boot. i understand they measure you just like belks but better. go figure. hope this helps. personally i would rather not wear one at all, except im to busty.

You are correct, I also wonder why they skip one size in between. Anyway, as far as I know, there are 3 settings of hooks in each bra, so you cld adjust. Isn't it?
