I'm not a big fan of black metal bands, but Zakk Wylde and Black Label Society kicks a**! "The Last Goodbye", "Stillborn" and "In This River" are good songs. RIP Dimebag.

as a guitar shredder, I know that I'm inspired by the good stuff...
I'll take all the gnarly riffs that I can...slow grinds, thrashy gallops, and certainly all the good harmony riffs that black metal has to offer...

i like alot of heavy metal, more than black or death metal. IMO, heavy metal is so much better than black metal.
