I travel light. If I go overseas, I take on small suitcase and one carry on and roll up a small backpack in the suitcase for day trips. Unless it's a business trip, I can wear a shirt or pair of pants more than once. It is worth traveling light, getting there and back is 99% of the hassle, why take your entire wardrobe.

I would like to say I travel light, but...I don't. Problem is...you just never know what situation you may find yourself in when you get there. Will shorts and tank tops do? Not for everything. Do I need dress slacks? Will jeans be enough? T-shirts might be fine, but then again sometimes a nice sleek sport shirt looks better in the evening. Going anywhere dressy that I might need a sport coat? Going to a theater production? Beach? It's all so complex!!!!

Help! My brain hurts!!!!!!

I have to travel light, especially when going by car because my husband is obsessed with making sure the car doesn't weigh too much.

I'm off to Scotland for 3 weeks and plan to put everything in a single carry one. I may get a little funky but plan to wash socks and underwear every 3 or 4 days.
