The things my kids and grandkids say make me smile like these:
My oldest daughter when she was 2 used to call her Flintstone vitamins "Yabby Dooby Onions".
My youngest daughter once was afraid to go to dentist to the point of tears. When we asked her why she said, "Because I don't want to get polyurethane!" instead of Novocaine. (My husband was a floor sander. She got a little confused. lol)
Whenever my daughter says she's going to take the kids (age 1 and 3) out to eat, the 3 year old says, "Are we going to Dunkin Donald's?" Again, alittle confused. lol
And last but not least. All of our grandchildren have always called us Gramma and Grampa expcept our 3 year old. She has always called us Gummy and Gumpy. She gets very indignant when any one tries to correct her. lol Then I have to explain to people who I tell this to, "yes, we have teeth."
