I just had a concrete driveway poured (no staining, stamping, etc). When asked if I needed to keep it moist (I had heard this helps the curing process) they guy said no. I'm seeing on various internet sites that I should. I just had it done less than 48 hours ago and I'm wondering what I should do.

DEFINITELY KEEP IT DAMP it needs to be kept damp for at least 3 days but better to be kept damp for 28 days
it should turn white slowly
a good way to to this is to buy some burlap and lay it on your drive way and wet it down and also get some type of watering system to keep it wet PUT WATER ON IT NOW
i had to come back to this question and tell you more or ask
who did your concrete work???was he licensed???for a licensed contractor to tell you not to keep the concrete moist is unbelievable.it doesn't necessarily mean your driveway is going to fail but it won't be as strong as it could be.
2 basic rules with concrete keep it moist let it cure slowly (28 days) and don't let it freeze before it cures

Curing Concrete Driveway

Concrete has to be kept moist so that it will cure slowly and develop maximum strength. There are several ways to keep it moist. Most people spray it with a hose periodically. Sometimes people cover it with a plastic sheet to trap the moisture. But many concrete contractors spray a special curing agent on the fresh concrete that has the same effect. The link below is one of many products available. If you are uncertain whether your contractor used a curing agent, it is best to just keep it wet.

Normally new concrete is kept moist for a couple or more days. It prevents the surface from drying before the sub-surface sets and cures.
I have seen new home slabs covered and kept moist.

Sprinkle lightly with your garden hose, daily for the next 5 days.It is recommended to keep concrete from drying too fast,as drying too fast will cause cracks.

i've got executed it merely after this is been floated out and that i've got used bolts the place i will get 3"+ into the concrete and leave 3' out. Use a velocity sq. to get it rapidly. do merely not permit alot of water settle around the bolt reason that'll save it from getting a stable grip. i've got taken slightly concrete and sprinkled it around the bolt after putting it in to get extra concrete around the bolt. desire this enables. stable success!!
