This has gone on for ages...Nothing New. Just look at the answers you've gotten... Take (Jelly Bean) for example. She claims we pray to Mother Mary during Mass. We both know this is Not True. It's no wonder Protestants fall victim to wrong understandings of our faith. A Protestant that claims they were Catholic ... Is like a Trophy for their church. However it becomes clear that those Ex-Catholics were Catholic in Name Only. Sadly, there are far too many uneducated Catholics. These are the ones that fall victim to heresy. When I read an answer that is Not a part of our teachings; Claiming to know such nonsense...I automatically Know...They were Uneducated in our Faith. Why give them the attention they seek? They are just grasping for acceptance by their peers. They aren't a good lot to debate. Answer Q's to the theological group and avoid the insincerity of the riffraff. God Bless You.

Conservatives invent their own religious requirements and drop others as they go along, cafeteria style. Generally speaking, they don't have to go to church on Sunday if God has not told them to. Same thing with politics, but the formulas are easier: "I am always right, you are always wrong." and "God is on our side".
