You do realize that any summary provided here will be, when you have or submit it, "copied off a website"?

If I were in your plight, I'd get a signed statement from the bookstore about the book's continued unavailability--right after I determined that NO library within reasonable travel distance had a copy available, nor would within an acceptable time.
