Melena the questions you ask are real down to earth ones , and it is really good to think hard about the answers , before one writes about it , so here goes
I think that natueraly things are going to go wrong, and one or both of the spouses are going to be upset , And why? because each one is looking at each other as to who is responsable , Such as who is to blame , to me all to often blame in large quailities is heaped on the other spouse. Then what have you got you have the typical results in defenciveness and mutural recriminations which then goes into suspects of the two spouces emotions , like trustworthyness , and fail to give each other the benifit of the doubt, Also by blaming each other as to which spouse is is to blame they are causeing a dysfunctional byeach other for the things past all this is going to do is to stir up anger and resentment and turn the two spouses into a competitive arena where one seeks vindication at the expence of the other in my way of thinking affection and compassion will never grow in such a climate. As for the second question Marlena In my marriage the female was wanting her independence , this became a big issue .TO me independance is not something that can be resolved once and for all because witrh the passage of time and the movement through the martital life cycle, her independence will shift about. my partner desired her independace and let me tell you this situation was excruciatingly uncomfortable. My partner took her indepenance as she felt like it she had no feelings , for me and in the end i felt the rejection and the abandonment.i found that she wanted her independance for all the wrong reasons .And because of that you can live without my partner . lets face it if you are deeply involed with a relationship , is it not so that you meet in the middle 50=50 this way i would agree then with your question that you cannot live without her , thank you for your question Marlena ,

Cheating - no doubt. I know what you're gonna say - ''you're wrong, that is soooo stupid, it's the same thing'' - But I'm still going to say it: Cheating (when done by the girl) is... lets say... worse then cheating when done by the guy.
Because when a girl cheats on her bf, she gets EMOTIONALLY involved with the other guy - while guys cheat because... lets say... we are weaker when it comes to this - we see sex as something that feels good and cannot resist the temptation. Girls are way better at resisting the temptaion yet you should see what they do.
And I'm sorry but I have to say that I haven't found a woman I could not live without simply because I got played a few times and 'being played' makes you see the world in different colors - in its true colors.
Yeah, that's how I am, maybe you didn't understand me - that'll result in a thumbs down I'm sure and I'm prepared for it, just like I'm prepared for EVERYTHING (even for TRUE love:)

For me and I would think most others being unfaithful is the worst thing a woman could do.
I have had it happen a couple of times and in both cases was ready to forgive but it doesn't work out. I think when a woman (or man) reaches the point that they want to be unfaithful then there is little hope for the relationship.

I heard a story about a guy in the Navy whose wife sent him a video tape of his favorite team playing their most recent game and he and all his buddies were gathered around watching it in the berthing while they were out at sea. Just as the team was about to make a touchdown, the video switched to a recording of the guys wife really getting down with this other guy and, when she was done doing her thing, she looked into the camera and said "I want a divorce!"

The worst thing they could do that would still technically be LEGAL is cheating behind your back. After that, there's a slew of other things that would mean jail.

I dated a girl years go and I caught her in bed with another guy. It really hurt me that she would cheat on me. I was so mad that I broke his nose and her and I got into a huge fight. And I ended up dumping her.

I'm a woman who'd like to answer your question.
How about this for a dealbreaker?
My husband (teacher, preacher, counselor) molested our two little boys and several others.
