yes it's more of an art form, the reason for this is because the background is like an canvas and you build around what you have to improve it.
Also it's also a painting, you want to make landscaping look like a picture where your eye goes from one point of the yard to another smoothly.

Well that depends, I grew up with people who were artist who did construction, so yes no and maybe - it is absolutley an art construction done correctly is an art have you ever seen the architecture in Atlanta, we have some real art for buildings, when lanscape or construction lack artistry they have not been done correctly

It depends on how it's done.

If you put a lot of thought into it then, yes, it's an art form.

If you just put a bunch of stuff out there without considering how it's going to look, then... it's not art.

Yes. Landscaping is to please the eyes. If done properly, it will bring your eye to certain areas and distract from others.
