I know you put that simple sum just to get some maths-phobic guys too to come and answer your real question below.

It is the pressure, the stress, lack of confidence and may be guilt feelings that you did not and could have prepared better that are getting to you.

Do some deep breathing and relax. Stay focused. If the exam is really important, you should not have any problem in focusing and studying. When you get bored of one subject, switch to another. Get up, and stretch. Do a few forward, backwards and sidewise bends to stretch. Shake your head a little to clear
the brain. Do a few jumps.

I am sending you Reiki (freely, not to worry about any payment and no obligations) to help you. Just relax for a few minutes and receive Reiki. If you want to know what Reiki is, email me with your email address and I will send you a powerpoint presentation on that.

I also invite you to enroll for the free online course at

haha
i think you would have to recognise the real urgency of the situation first.
Look at your results
Look at where you are planning to go
Discard your frustration
Channel them into your effort to work towards that target. Usually places where people plan to head to requires a certain level of competence, which is shown generally from your academic results.

As to plans for concentration, lets look at the physical side of it. Best is to watch your diet well. Caffeine and other similar stimulants usually gives the body the jitters? So keep those intake down to the minimum. Excessive sugar intake can be another reason for your jitteriness. Exercising can promote and give the feeling of well being.

As for the psychological side of this, you have to learn how to sit down and focus! There is no other way you can do this. Dont even try reading your notes while walking to school. Those are stored in the short term memory at most.

You believe that you can do it yourself, so why not just sit down with a group of friends and whack out all the problems. At the end of every day, your worries of uncovered subjects are lessened progressively till the day for your O's where you will be fully prepared.

One advice from somewhere i heard: Love what you have to study, then it will go in.
Humanities wise, memory work. Unless you're real passionate about it, its memory work only i guess
Sciences; best that you understand the concepts and the situations the theories work in. Questions are usually limited in varieties.
Bio's not bad! Just memory work for those stuff that you cant seem to get it in. If not, conceptualizing how the whole system work helps ALOT!

So good luck! Wish you all the best

Meditate. It helps.
However, if you want a short cut, you might consider playing soccer everyday, and when you are tired , sit down to study. I did it when I was 16 It does not increase concentration really, but it takes all your energy away, and you feel too lazy to do anything else. So you study.
Truly speaking there are no shortcuts to study.. You have to get your heart and soul into it to memorize history. And bio suks, you are right. Thank god I have passed that age.

Don't try to memorize science. just try to understand the basic concepts, and try to link them up with the applications. Do the same with maths. When it gets boring, imagine you are working on some NASA project, working out the details of a spacecraft launch. It helps sometimes.
