the abs light is on due to the sensor, take it off, clean it and should be fine.the gear linkage could be very slightly out, most cars this can be adjusted so take to garage for that one

Two separate problems first most likely is the rear wheel speed sensor on the differential. The transmission could actually be getting to hot. What does the fluid look like on a white paper towel does it smell burnt? And was the trans serviced regularly or just driven to this point. No service fluid changes you will be in for a large repair expense. Frequent services 20 to 30 thousand mile fluid changes you might need a throttle position sensor or some easy repair. How many miles?

it is nearly like evaluating apples to oranges, isn't it? relies upon on what you are going to apply the motor vehicle for. once you are going to delivery greater effective than one passenger and something that remotely resembles shipment, bypass with the Windstar. once you're a velocity freak, single and nicely-off, or having a mid-existence disaster, bypass with the Viper.
