I think nickname is not the right word. I mean the names they gave the kings and queens of days of yore. Like.. Aethelred the Unclean and Isabella the Unshaven and so on.

edit: well, mine would be Zoe the Salamander, of course. Or that one about the poopoo questions that guy answered. I must have answered a question of his and he probably did not like the answer.

I'm split between "Efnissien the Inebriated" or
"Efnissien the Incomprehensible".

Maybe "Efnissien the incomprehensibly inebriated"! - conqueror of nations, destroyer of culture, creator of wine in a 330ml can.

"William the Bastard duke of Normandy" AKA the "William conqueror"
There was a "Pedro the Mad"
A "Iorwerth Drwyndwn" (Iorwerth the cut nose)
James the first was nicknamed "James the S$%t head" by his Irish troops
A "Ednyfed Fychan" (Ednyfed the short / little)

Me and my friends discussed this once.
We (they) decided I would go down in history as "Steph the Tiny" because I am often mistaken for someone 3 or 4 years my junior.
Not bad, I guess...
There once was a lord in Normandy whose "the" name was "the Bastard". No kidding. Go look it up.

I'd be content with 'Snake Eyes the Twisted'...coz well, it's true.
I just tone it down a bit not to scare everyone at once...
