yes and do you think our planet is being climatise to suit a race of aliens that will use us for slaves and food.
Also if they created us are there aliens disguised as humans (our leaders) to accomplish this feat.

Whattaya know. Erich von Daniken lives!
Sorry, honey. Most of what he produced as "evidence" of little green men and great golden goddesses from "Out There" has been thoroughly and scientifically debunked by reputable scientists, including my own not-so-humble self.
Btw, calling a small, cylindrical object a "battery" no more makes it one than calling a skunk cabbage a rose will sweeten its scent. They turned out to be encrusted cylinder seals, common as dirt in ancient Sumer, Chaldea and Babylonia. And building the pyramids takes lots of people several years and a whole lotta sweat equity. Think of the pyramids as the WPA of Ancient Egypt. After all, while the Nile was in flood, the people still hadda eat. This way they earned their bread, beer and onions. And, of course the Nazca Plains markings are best viewed by air. You think those people thought their gods lived downstairs in the basement?! When you wanta attract the attention of someone who lives above you, you make something that they can SEE from above. Doesn't necessarily mean that there's anyone there in reality, ya know. It just means that the builders knew some simple geometry. Big deal. Oh yeah, and the astronaut in the space shuttle. C'mon! That's a Maya king from the First Kingdom, ca. 250BCE and since they cleaned the sarcophagus and restored the broken parts it's obvious that he's sitting on a throne and giving gifts to the gods, one of which is his scepter, thus showing that he recognizes his power to come from the divine. Hmmmmm, divine right of kings, eh....sound familiar?
Get a grip. Leave off the fantasy and go study archaeology, anthropology, sociology and the like. Believe me, it's a lot more fascinating than those nutty ideas of von Daniken's.

This is in response to Grannie...
The Mayan king you refer to is probably Hanab Pakal, ruler of Palenque. The lid of his "coffin" actually shows him ascending/descending into Xibalba, the underworld. What looks like a spaceship is probably the tree of life that descends into the underworld. Does look like a spaceship though. Even weirder is the rain god Tlaloc, a be-goggled, ancient astronaut. Or the Olmecian african heads at La Venta. Or...well, you get the idea. Aliens, probably not, but more advanced civilization than the history books ever recorded? For sure!

sorta off the subject. our ancients were more advanced than 1st assumed. progressing allong that line, what if their ancients were more advanced than they were. could the records of aliens be their long extinct advanced civilization? some of the other planets have traces of rivers & oceans, could these aliens be refugees from a dying planet. could be time travelers. we are in the same form we were 2000 years ago (size, shape, bald bodies, ect) & are starting to get back into technologies that went by the wayside; sun, wind, gravity, water...all can provide power, force, sustainance & all. humans are doing less with more, weve got all this tech but find the most destructive ways for power (coal, oil, nukes, ...) & crops that leave the soil depleated & dead, indutries that kill the land, sea & air.

No, I do not believe such rubbish, and I advise everyone to check out all sides to any controversy before forming a firm opinion. I thought this stuff Erik van Daniken began had been so thouroughly discredited that no one believed such nonsense by now. If there are a few bucks to be made by spouting nonsense, someone will do it, evidently. Do not understimate humans. They were smart and needed no "gods from outer space" to do wonderful things for them.

I would think there are a number of possibilities.
Highly advanced civilizations like Atlantis already existing and primitives considering them gods.
Extraterrestrial beings. And Life in other dimensions.
The saying goes, "As it is above, so it is below."
Which means there are things in this world that are reflections of things in other dimensions. Like a government structure. And every Nation is said to have rulers over them.

Aliens do not exist if there was life on other planets it would have absolutely no way to reach earth. Stories about aliens are made up by intelligent people to get idiots like you to buy their books and go to their movies. In the case of Roswell it was made up to keep people from figuring out what is really being protected at area 51 so they can't complain about separation of church and state, but like everyone else I know nothing.

Is it possible? sure. Do I believe it ? no. The old religions, much like the new religions, are just humanity's attempt to put an explanation to things we do not fully comprehend.
