Get a bigger harddrive, get more ram, get broadband internet for faster internet speeds....or just get a new pc!

That all depends on your current set up but the short answer is to add further RAM memory modules. Check out at Crucial's web site - that will tell you what you need.
Also do a Disc Cleanup from Start>Accessories and Defrag from the same place.

Generally maxing out the RAM will give a user the best results.
Remember that you are limited as to the size and speed of the proccessor in your machine as well.

- First of all, get rid of adware/spyware and viruses (if any?)
- Clean it regularly of temp files, cookies, etc. (use CCleaner, for example)
- Keep the partition/hard drive on which the Windows is installed at 50% free space
- if you still have 256/512 MB RAM, upgrade the memory

did it used to be fast then it slowed down???
empty your temp.internet files.
my computer/local C(R click)/ properties/disk cleanup. this will get rid of the temp files speeding up the computer.
also internet connection will effect speed get a better internet package.
also get more memory it will help make programs function better.

1. off-load your pics, vids, and music to dvd or cds.
2. Run disk cleaner
3. Run your anti-virus program
4. Run your anti-spyware program
5. Delete temporary internet files

add more ram, upgrade your cpu, get a sata hard drive instaed of ide
