im trying to concieve and on the same time on a diet to loose some weight..im eating healthy food and I do some walking as sports on the machine but with a normal speed ...not too fast and not too slow..but every month after my ovulation I stop walking because I think that this may decrease my chances to concieve...do u have any idea if I should stop sports when im trying to concieve??

its great to keep walking, and eating healthy, good for you and your future baby. i think it will help you get pregnant if your healthy. just don't start a higher intensity workout after ovulation... just in case.
i did the same thing, after ovulating i didn't work out for the two weeks... now i decided its best for me and my future pregnancy if i am as healthy as possible.
lots of baby dust and weight losing to you!

Nope, not a problem. Even my doctor says that if I keep the weight loss to only a pound a week, you can actively try to conceive while losing weight. The exception is if you are going through infertility treatments (and it's best to get an opinion from that expert than Yahoo!Anwers because a lot of their information isn't published because it is so state-of-the-art.

That said, if your sports or diet is changing when you ovulate or when your period starts, then the changing fat level is messing up your hormones. At that point, your best bet is to stop the sports/weight loss prior to ovulating (not prior to your period). You can always continue to walk.

You can continue the same level of activity (if you can) after you become pregnant. They just ask that you do not start any NEW exercise routine.

It's not advised to diet while pregnant so get any weight loss out of the way now before you are pregnant. Make sure you are eating properly and start taking a prenatal vitamin.

no, if anything it helps you to conceive because when you are a bit overweight and not taking care of yourself, it is harder to get pregnant...keep it up, people say the thinner you are the easier to get pregnant....good luck
