On AMC, they killed off Dixie - just when she and Tad could have found their long-lost little girl. Dixie was an integral part of the show and because the actress spoke up to the producer for firing Brooke who had been on the show 30 some years without a sendoff. She just disappeared. Then they killed Dixie.

Lynn Marie Latham going onto Young and the Restless - a show that has been on for more than 30 years - and totally reconstructing it into a mess. She was changing character personalities - Sharon's promiscuous, Victoria's whiny, Gloria's a criminal are very obvious examples - and making them detestable. And doing character assassinations on a daily basis. Killing off beloved characters, firing veteran actors (Eileen Davidson) and writers (Jack Smith, Kay Alden), and basically butchering the show to appease to the same fanbase that obsesses over crap music like Good Charlotte and Simple Plan, and fawns over the likes of this Zac Efron dude that's so talked about these days. My point: Ms. Latham is driving long-time viewers (people who have watched since the 70's, 80's and even 90's) away with this bloody drivel.
As per to that old saying, she tried to fix what wasn't broken to begin with, and ended up breaking it even further. No wonder Victoria Rowell fled the scene.

That they didn't even write Alice Horton out with a story line. She is just gone. She was the last of the originals. She started on days with the radio and so what happened to her? They ad libbed a story line for McDonald Carey when he had his heart attach. So why not make a story up for her?
Instead poof she is just not around anymore. How sad

About 4 years ago on GH Carly Corinthos was preganant with her son Morgan. Ric Lansing's wife Liz just had a miscarriage and Ric wanted to get her a baby. He bought a house with a panic room, kidnapped Carly and chained her to a table waiting for her to give birth so he could steal her baby. Liz had no idea. Then Lorenzo Alcazar found out and took Carly. They both got away with it even though the police knew about it.

Killing off Cassie on Y&R was so uneccessary. I know the writers did it because they wanted tension between Nick and Sharon that didn't have to do with adultery, but look what happened anyway....the drift between them caused by their different grieving styles over Cassie caused them to both...commit adultery!
