I don't know where you live, but where I live there is a couple motorcycle salvage yards close by, check your phone book or yahoo yellow pages. the switch itself is the same for several Kawasaki's even if the housing is not.

Contact Kawasaki and ask for the part #
Ask if you can order from them, or take the part # to a Kawasaki dealer to order.

Ok, I am a redneck and here is my answer. Put a momentary toggle switch somewhere to replace the starter switch in the circuit.

No body besides you and anyone else you tell will know how to start your bike and it is a fairly easy project.

and as an added bonus it is ratty/redneck as hell and an instant bonus to the cool factor on any bike.

in case you have become not something from the change, attempt leaping the solenoid to make particular that the motorbike WILL turn over. you may try the change utilising a multimeter. Pull the two wires off the lower back and connect the crimson and black finally leads to the two contacts on the change, with the multimeter set on ohms (continuity) and push the beginning up change. in case you have a continuity examining once you push the button, the change is nice, if not, it needs to get replaced.

Have you checked to see if this part is specific to your bike only? See if you can get the Kawi part number and check it out that way. These types of parts are usually put on several different models.
