okay, I'm 16 and I have my formal this year (Australian version of prom) and I'm taking my boyfriend. He's not much of a formal person and it's a big deal that he's agreed to come to mine so I want to make it special to him by going in some awesome car because he loves cars and stuff so I thought it could be something to make his night fun. I know absolutely nothing about cars or any other form of transport for that matter, and money isn't an issue. So I put to you this question: What car would a 17 yr old boy think is unbelievably awesome?

I'm not sure what sporty cars are available in Australia but he'd go absolutely "spastic" if you rolled in with any two seater convertible such as a Chevrolet Corvette. Holden makes sub-frames for General Motors here in Amarica and I've heard the new Chevrolet Camaro (Holden) is already avalable in your beautiful country.
Have fun at your formal.

definetley a corvette or a viper but please be careful. if you get a powerful sports car you must remember that it can be hard to control if you are not careful. i used to own a mustang gt and occasionally on shifts the rear end of the car would slide out a little bit even if i wasnt accelerating hard. and much props on your effort to make this a special for night him and you.

Since you're in Australia, I'd go for a a clone of the "Mad Max" Ford Falcon. There is nothing cooler.

Why not a two seater, or a convertible. That would be a nice suprise.
