Jordon, Lebanon, and Egypt now see the writing on the wall... The "moderate" Muslim countries cannot stand behind Hamas because they know that they are founded by Iran, and Iran wants to control all of the middle east.
You know the old saying, the enemy of my enemy is my friend. So the Muslim countries will hopefully end up helping the Israel/Palestine conflict after all, not to destroy Israel, but for everyone to co-exist.
Right now Israel is the only thing stopping Iran for taking control of the entire area, and thank goodness the other countries see that now.

How about staying where they are and participating in Israeli society?
I think the run of the mill Palestinean is pissed off because because of the economic circumstances you mentioned above, and not because of some desire for a nebulous political self-determination. He finds himself in a refugee camp, and has a bunch of propoganda spewed at him that every evil in his life is the direct result of Israel.
The solution is to make some sort of peace with Israel. It has a strong economy with ties to the US and EU. Then all the resources that they are using to fund terrorism can be used in a constructive manner, plus they would have the cooperation of the Israelis, who are in an economically superior position to help them.

Why go to an Arab country?
I think the Republicans here in the US should open up their homes to all Arab Refugees.
Those millions of displaced Iraqis and Palestinians need to live somewhere, why not with people who supported war against them?

90% of palastinians are from Jordan, which they were kicked out of after black september. They aren't wanted anywhere.
