Could Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards actually be right about something? Not where to go to get a haircut, mind you, I mean about there being two Americas.
There is the vibrant America . . . and the stagnant one.

Maybe the better way to say it:..Is there two Americas??..one productive and vibrant with new ideas and inventions...and a lazy one that feels its owed something and blames its problems on those who are productive and votes for politicians who will punish that productivity with tax's that will fund their laziness...what do you think?

There are definitely 2 Americas. I have seen both sides. There are a lot of hard workers here and People who choose to lay up and draw a check for having children and whatever else they can find a reason for. The choose not to work because it would decrease all of the public assistance they get. More people need to be told to get out and pull there own weight. I had 2 children when my husband walked out on me. I worked 12 hr days in a restaurant to support us. There needs to be more accountability in the U.S.
My husband I'm married to now is a cpt in the army and would never us public assistance. Even when he was younger and unemployed he refused to draw unemployment. He just worked 3 part time jobs!

There has always been "two" Americas. Heck at one point it nearly caused a permanent division of the country; the Civil War. Great thing about America up until recently was that while we were divided on internal political issues we were always united on defense of our great nation. Lately its been fashionable for the left to side with our enemies. That's a much more serious problem than our internal difference of the "vibrant" versus "stagnant".

If that is te case, there are two of every nation. There will always be the lazy and corrupt. The idea behind capitialism is that it minimizes the impact of the two. Business hates corrpution and the lazy get no where fiscally. In that sense there is only one America.
Now there are two Americas, the political America and the real America that thinks all policial is bs.

Liberals like John Edwards really remind me of people like Al Sharpton. They attempt to make their careers out of belly-aching and moaning about how unfair things are and how unequal society is. Suprisingly enough, there is a market for that garbage and if there wasnt, then people like Sharpton and Edwards would have to try to find another hook or change their philosophy altogether.
The only 2 Americas I see are the people that think they are the elite of society that get special treatment like Ted Kennedy democrat that had a drunk driving accident and recieved no justice. But had that been you or I, we would have court dates, fines, license suspensions, you name it.
If something does need to be done, its not to raise taxes or welfare and try to p[ay people to be poor, its to start taking the words "JUSTICE FOR ALL" seriously and universally.

Don't you see any problem with a guy that is running for president that is basing his campaign on the division of America?
There is one America though it seems the Democrats are quite ready to separate it and cut off those that do not share their views.
Hey we are all in this together.
