i never played the remake but i did play the one they made for the dreamcast called "beats of rage" if thats what you talkin about and yeah lol that **** was off the meat rack lol

Not even the creators were sued as far as I know. They just got a slap on the wrist and Sega (thought they had) removed all links. Google 'streets of rage online' and you'll find a website. Check the fangames section. They still have a working download link of the game :) Version 5 is the finished version. Don't get Version 4 by mistake. It's not illegal to play it. Just don't try selling it to anyone or something silly like that :) It's a great game and if Sega won't give us a new SoR game then why should they be allowed to deprive us of a fan game? I've been playing it all year, it's addictive as hell xD

Can't say that I have. I will always remember the original and how it's competition was final fight (1994?)
I lived in arcades back then. lol
