Do you think this can happen? (isn't it that way in most futuristic flicks?)
I was listening to Bob Marleys "War" earlier and I thought of this question.
It is one of his most amazing songs that applies to whats going on today. You should check it out.

I think that this will happen eventually, but I have serious doubts that it will happen anytime soon. In order for a united Earth government, we would need to get an overwhelmingly strong majority to get along, agree on many issues, and get to accept that they aren't always right on an issue.
Since no country can do this (not even ours) I see a world government a long way off.

The larger ones will outvote the smaller ones and litterally steal all their resources - under the guise of being the smaller nations "protectors" from whatever bogey man of the day.

I hope if that ever happens that the UN is not in control. We would starve to death.
