i dunno know but I recall the great Finn rally driver, hannu Mikkola and his mate, Gunnar Palm, rallye winners in1968, in a Ford Escort in deep African jungle terrain. He repeated the feat over ten years later with Arne Hertz in Audi quattro. I guess the name may be Finnish version of Michael.

For a BOY, - used as a FORENAME, - it sounds as though it COULD a "VARIATION" of "MIKHAIL", and is RUSSIAN, for "MICHAEL"

For a GIRL, - AGAIN, from RUSSIAN, - it COULD be either "MICHAELA", - or, possibly, "NICOLA"!

There WAS though, - a few YEARS back, - a FINNISH sportsman, - involved, in FORMULA 1 or RALLY DRIVING, I think! HIS nam was "HANNU MIKKOLA"! In THAT context, though, - sorry, but, I wouldn't have a CLUE, - as I don't understand Finnish!
