You have to keep it up, have a very good memory, and if you're found out it takes a long while to live it down, in many and various ways.
So I apply this tell the truth, you can always 'dress it nicely', admit if you've made a mistake, I found it does pay off.

Cause -
1) It hurts people when they find out the truth
2) When you are lying or not telling the truth, you know what you did was wrong...thats why you lie rght?
3) you can lie once! once you lie, to continue people to belive that lie, you need to lie 1000's of times!
Thus, stay holnest with yourself and others!
