No, more like a bumper car at the fair!
(without the bumping) lol

I remember the weirdest thing about driving was, the first time you go out alone in the car after passing your test. My adrenalin was pumping and I just kept thinking "I am moving this great, big piece of metal on wheels all on my own."
But I soon got over that!

Why are you going to start lessons?
Good Luck!

In some ways. There are no established rules in the supermarket for moving your cart and I don't see anyone going more than 5mph. However there are plenty of traffic jams when people block the aisle with their cart. Also people can drive their carts in an unpredictable manner(no turn signals) or stop to look at the labels or gab with a friend without realizing no one can get by.

Yeah, nearly exactly the same...go to steep hill, get in trolley, push off, you will see just how similar it is.
