yes
I'm a great supporter of the power of positive thinking.
If you want to know more on the subject consider reading "I'm rich beyond my wildest dreams. I'm. I'm. I'm." by Thomas Pauley & Penelope Pauley.

Excelent book!

No, unfortunately I have yet to see either.

I think negative thoughts can create negative events.

I do not pretend to understand a formula for how it works.
The force of will is a funny thing. While you thoughts affect the world around you it is not always in the way you think or desire.

At the end of the day, I believe that whatever forces are acting in the universe know what is best for me. I try to keep my thoughts, 'energy,' overall being as positive as I can.

The last few months/years have been crazy and at times a strain on my sanity but I am also aware of how much worse they could of been. I like the universe, don't think I will understand it in my life time but the way it works out is kinda neat.

I have only heard of it in conversation. Someone described it to me and mentioned Oprah or her book club.

I agree that positive thinking is much more effective than nevative thinking but the concept is nothing new. I don't know where or when it originated but when it was explained to me, the first thing I thought was R.Kelly (the pee-nut) sang it in I Believe I Can Fly. That was EXACTLY what the song was all about.

Not in that sense. But it weakens your confidence, stopping you from being focused on fore-coming events. Thus may result in further negative outcomes.
