all seperate incidences, Ive lived in Greece for over 18 years, I dont want to sound like an old granny ( im 41) but I can honestly say, the most violent thing that happend on a saturday night out in my day was a bit of a fisty cuffs on the dance floor.
what is going on? what will happen in 20 years from now, I dread to think. I'm very proud to be british, yet I am SO glad I dont have to live in such a violent country.

There's an awful lot of the gun culture thing creeping into this country now - and sadly a huge lack of respect for the law, in many many ways.

This is not the country it used to be.

(similar age to you! )

Your fisticuffs on the dance floor now degenerate into knifings and shootings as opposed to a punch up.A lot of these involve people of various other ethnicity's who feel they have been disrespected or something and resort to extreme violence to revenge the slight. Almost all of the incidents are late at night when the people involved have been drinking. The answer, who knows, close all pubs and clubs, or close them at 10.30pm. A curfew . Unless people learn to behave themselves all sorts of restrictions will have to be imposed or we will degenerate into a completely lawless society where everybody is in constant danger, and the police are helpless.

80 people have carried out violent attacks with replica Samurai swords in Britain in the last 4 years. Crazy or what?

You are right. At the rate violence is growing in London, it will resemble Los Angeles in another 700 years.

It's not just London - it's a worldwide trend. It's not difficult to see why this is so. It can only get worse, I am afraid.
