i have norton antivirus2002 but its subscription expired what can i do to protect my pc in this case?, i want to download this antivirus for free or told me what is the best antivires and its website that i can download from it for free?

Since you are using an old version of Norton, the newest removal tool will not help you. Follow the steps at the following Norton page to uninstall Norton.

After you have uninstalled it, reboot then finalize installation of the free AV product of your choice that you downloaded previously.

most virus are spread through IE. IE is not a safe browser.
you should use a more secure browser to protect your PC from virus. i recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar.
firefox can block any any popup and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE browser.
as you know, most of virus spread throught internet and webpage.
besides, firefox is much smaller than IE, so it run faster than IE. download firefox for free, Just have a try:

2002 is 5 years out of date. update it to 2007 and you will be ok
