Here's a couple of questions?

I don't' think jet fuel would have burned for an hour so what else was burning?
Is what else was burning, what temperature does it burn at?
I've never seen a building, both hit by a plane, causing structural damage plus massive fire damage and what would happen?
How is it conspiracy theorists can tell me exactly what temperature the 9/11 fire was yet experts can't tell you what temperature a normal controlled fire is?
If explosive were placed in the towers why didn't anyone see them being placed?
Why are the pictures of airplane wreckage at the Pentagon yet theorists say there wasn't?
Why are normal firefighters using 'demolitions' terms, or are conspiracy theorist stretching the truth?

These are a few questions I have about the conspiracies that haven't been answered, but many are ignored.

I have a degree in history. It is a rather interesting art. It is amazing that history is a composite of two words: His and story. Likewise, in German, the word for history is Geschichte, which also means "story."

Getting the truth from history requires tremendous research--objective research. Too much of what claims to be research today is actually backstopping: investigation that only accepts raw data that supports the author's thesis.

All this being said, sometimes it is appropriate to ignore some versions of history, especially those built without an objective view.

Sadly, purported "history" is now used for entertainment and injury. Several of the sources you cite are just that. They do not really represent history at all, but rather a one-sided, skewed version of the truth. That doesn't mean the information they present isn't worthy of examination, it only means counter-arguments deserve to be heard and weighed.

I love history, but let's keep it objective. As you should have seen by some of your answers, the sword can be swung both directions. I hardly believe we get the truth when we seek to swing it one way.

Which facts? Oh yes, that's right. The fact that FDR and Truman both had spies in high-level positions in the government, and would not listen to the dozens of people warning them. Wait... here's another one. When Carter let the hostages in Iran stay there for an extended vacation (the vacation ended when Reagan took office). Or maybe the fact that Clinton, on the advice of Murtha, abandoned the soldiers in Somalia (that means he wouldn't send more people to rescue them)? Are these the facts you speak of? I was just wondering...

I've heard all the conspiracy theories and am not quite paranoid enough to believe them. So why blame Republicans? According to you all governments do it and in America both parties. I do not like George Bush and hat his administration but this too shall pass. Don't you know we can make anyone look like he is saying something he did not by computers? but when the Historian get it the story is total different because they will write the story using all facts one from all points of view.
