Musical instruments are always crown pleasers.

Also, dance is entertaining.

Gymnastics wows the audience, especially if you are crazy flexible!

Magic and tricks like juggling or plate spinning are always unique, cool, and eye catching!

Hope you find a talent and do well in your next pageant!

That depends on what the focus of the pagent is. I think a good clean song, dance, and comedy routine that leaves people thinking about how they can help end prevailing problems would be great.

Example: A comedy skit that has a person see a homeless person, who then does a song and dance to raise money to get the people into a home, and not a homeless-shelter

Just stay away from flatulence, sex and cussing as nobody truly likes them (no matter how much they say they do).

You need MOVEMENT and you need COMEDY.

Forget about changing the world. You need audience appeal in a talent round. That will automatically influence the judges.

Look for a monologue or stand-up routine that involves humour and a lot of movement on stage.

There is an alternative, of course, and it is INTENSITY.

If you can carry it off, look for a monologue that will transport the audience with its sheer intensity. But movement is paramount. Static displays of melodic or oratorial skills don't work.

How about playing a musical instrument? Like playing a song on the piano or guitar?
It would be great to see someone do a short puppet show. Dunno if this is possible or not.
