I am worried for her, and I want to make sure it isnt serious. I told her to go to the doctor asap, but I wanted to know if anyone could give me an idea.

if she doesn't have her period, it might be an infection, or simply spotting in between periods. I would go get her checked out.

It's more likely she's passing minute stones. She must have a calcium build up in her bladder and that could be the result of an unbalanced diet. Whatever, she should visit a doctor. What's going on here deserves attention.

Huge clots can be a symptom of fibroid tumors as one example. As for the birth control pill it's possible. The only way to know for sure is for her to have this evaluated by her dr to see what they think is going on.

Uterine fibroids are usually not dangerous, but can cause immense discomfort and lead to complications like anemia from heavy blood loss. In rare cases, they may cause complications that affect pregnancy.
In cases where there are no symptoms, treatment may not be necessary. However, proper diagnosis and treatment may be required if your symptoms are severe or causing complications. Along with conventional treatment, you can try some natural home remedies. Read here https://tr.im/g5RwF

Sounds like it could be a urinary infection or little stones in the bladder. You are very correct tho, she must see a Doc ASAP.

a bladder infection may cause blood in your urine (although not really clots...) she really needs to go and see a doctor... it may just be the start of her period but i'd go to the doctor just in case...
