I have a laptop and ive purchased 4 different wireless G routers but none of them will install properly on my desktop. it meets the minium system requirements but it just wont work. all though i have had no problems installing my wireless B router . it works flawlessly. thanks

when i go to change the settings there is nothing in 192.168.2.1

You just need to add/change another IP address at your PC before you can connect to the router. Make it the same on the router's IP address segment.

For example: if the manual book says that the IP address for the router is 192.168.2.1 then you can use 192.168.2.10 at your PC. After that you can open the browser and type http://192.168.2.1 at the address bar.
