How about the fact that president bush said, "Iraq possessed stockpiles of WMD's that could threaten the U.S., and had an active nuclear weapons program. Which where both lies. And that: Saddam Hussein cooperated with al Qaeda terrorists and was involved in the attacks on September 11, 2001. I believe this was also a lie.

He'll be gone, his influence already is. Even the members of his own party, looking to their own elections are running away from his policies. We don't as a rule do anything else, frankly, I don't think we were ever prepared for a president this incompetent. Certainly we aren't believers in violence as a resolution if that is what you are referring too.
And BTW, Kerry didn't lie about his medals, and the only thing that was proven about Bush's disappearance from the Guard in Alabama was that CBS got forged documents and ran with them, to this day no one knows where Bush was.

What does one propose we do about it?? The man got re-elected even after the Iraq war started. He said he was going to stay the course and did.
We the citizen of the United States don't have the power to impeach him. Congress does however the only thing congress can impeach him for is breaking his presidential oath. But then congress would be in the same type of trouble seeing as most of them voted for the patriot act.
Everything else he either change the laws or has fall guys. Nothing can be done our hands are tied.

I think you need to get your facts straight. It wasnt just Bush claiming that Hussein had wmd's. Most of our allies agreed with the intelligence report of the US and their own intelligence concluded the exact same thing, combined with the fact that Iraq did absolutely have them and used them in the past, and that he refused to allow inspectors to see if he did get rid of them. Bush should just take Hussein's word on it??? You are willing to take Hussein's word on wmds, that he has used in the past, but then you won't believe Bush when he says this is what the intelligence said. Why do people like you assume a man like Bush is lying but then believe every word coming out of a man like Hussein???? So, so far we have concluded that Bush didn't lie and that the rest of the civilized world believed Hussein had the weapons, lets go onto your next misinformation.

Bush NEVER said that Hussein or Iraq had anything whatsoever to do with 911. He never said Iraq was an imminent threat. What Bush said very clearly was that Iraq was a gathering threat and that Iraq was known for supporting terrorists, which Hussein did do openly when he offered money to suicide bombers that blew up Isrealis. Bush said that the intelligence showed that Hussein had wmds, wanted nukes, and that he was a rogue dictator that has proven he was willing to slaughter anyone to get what he wanted, and since he openly declared he wanted the US wiped off the map, that makes him a pretty ugly threat.

You may not like Bush's politics and you may think he made a lot of mistakes, but what you shouldn't do is skew the facts of the past to come up with some phantom theory of how Bush lied our way into war because even some of Bush's sharpest critics have come out and said there is no reason to believe Bush lied, only that he went off of faulty intelligence, that the rest of the world agreed with.

If Bush ends up succeeding, and I really do hope you hope he does, then what history might show him to be instead of a terrible president, is a president that helped stabilize and bring democracy to a region where our greatest enemies lie. It might show him to be a president that created an incredible ally in the middle east and secure our economy by securing our oil interests, interests he didn't create but does have to deal with. What we should all be hoping for is that his plan does succeed because then not only does our country benefit, but so do the Iraqis. What is so disgusting is how many liberals seem to take pleasure when there are setbacks in Iraq or when people slam the president. We as americans should not want our president to fail or look bad just because we dont agree with his politics, esp when the biggest reason for wanting failure is for their own political gain.

What do you propose we do?? I didn't vote for the fool, and I don't support him! If we had the Canadian system of govt., there would have been a vote a long time ago because people lost "confidence" in the Shrub. But, we only have elections for pres. every four years.

So, what do we do?? We owe China our left ___, now. And our taxes are used for this ridiculous "war". Our jobs are flying out of the country faster than we can say, "I can't afford it", and our children are not being educated, our seniors are not honored and cared for, no one can afford health care......
What can we, what should we do??????

Repeat after me .... Saddam Husein HAD weapons of mass destruction. Good, I know you can say it if you try, It is the truth. Now say .... Saddam Hussein USED weapons of mass destruction in an attempt at genocide of the Kurds. It might hurt, but try. it will be better in the long run. Now, you see? It wasn't so hard to tell the truth, was it?

We can't impeach him and then get Cheney as President, so just be happy Bush isn't just starting his term in office, and start thinking about how we can clean up the messes he has created...in particular: Improve our worldwide image, if he hasn't damaged it beyond repair.

What possibly can you do about it?
If you assemble in Washington, and one official has to walk around you to go in the white house, you are a terrorist suspect.

But what could possibly be done about him? He's there. The American populace chose him for the second time in a row.

There's nothing to do about it. Even if he was impeached and removed from office, I don't like who would become president.
