What do you think of Y&R these days? storylines, characters everything? See any changes in the past year?

I have only been watching it for a year now, but I love it! I really like all of the characters! I know that there is always lying in soaps, but recentlly I think that's kind of the theme! I will be ready for most of that to end! I like the politic storyline, but I hope it's over fairly soon and they move onto the next big thing!

They voted on Friday. I must see the episodes a day before everyone else. Lucky me!

I am also getting sick of the senate storyline. It was Victor that wanted Jack to run for senator and now he is now where to be found. I find it kinda boring.

I think the only believable storyline or one of them at least is Daniel and the Porn thing. At least it is something people can relate too.

I find that Nikki is getting snobbier as time goes on. I find her smiles are forced and that she always looks upset. Maybe it is just the way her face is aging lol.

I've seen changes within the past year from character driven storylines to dragged out plot driven storylines. This is due to the change in headwriters.

Its trying to get a little more hip, if you will. I think its needed to keep up with the times. Y&R is still the classiest of all soaps. I've been watching Soapnet all weekend (trying to find a new soap); I watched AMC, OLTL, GH and GL...Y&R is still the best, although GH has some pretty good stories. I can't believe Stuart/Adam is STILL on AMC! He was on there when I was in Jr. high School!

Y&R is getting good, I like the new music, I like the older people that still have lives and still have power, Katherine and Victor are both in their 60's! Y&R is currently firing people and bringing in new, to shake it up. They're doing a good job.

I really liked the porn storyline with daniel because you didn't see it coming. I hope it is not over yet. this whole senator bullshit with Nikki and jack is sooo stupid. thank goodness they are voting on Monday so that will be over. I think they are doing way to much recycling and swaping of wives and husbands

I don't like this senate campaign story line. There have got to be more people in Wisconsin to run for senaate besides thier little group of people. It's just a bit much.

They are dragging the storylines and some the "fan favorites" are begining to make me sick to my stomach. I cant stand Victoria. I cant wait for sweeps though.

I see what everyone is saying but I actually like them. I can't wait each day to tune in and find out what is going to happen...the one thing is that they do keep suprising you.
