Do not be stupid, it is the idea of having a pet because it is cool that is causing so many problems for exotic animals. Right now there are more tigers as "pets" in the US than there are in the wild, the majority of which are living in horrid conditions because the owners have no clue what they are doing.

Listen, do not do that. Many tigers r an endangered species, and do not live well if they r in captivity-like someones pet. They r unpredictable and somewhat aggressive. You better go to the local zoo, see if they need a volunteer, bc, some cubs get to the zoo with no mother, so maybe the people from the zoo will let u take care of the cub until it grows big. Don't get tigers as a pet, they r not for that kind of life. The should be free to run and live on their own. I love animals, especially big cats, but I'd never want to keep one, it is not humane. I hope I helped u, and I hope u do not decide to get a tiger pet. |Think of the consequences. bye_

Nope, really bad idea. People buy tiger cubs because they are so cute and adorable. But the cub grows up to be a huge cat, which eats a lot and can be very unpredictable and aggressive. They also require a lot of space, and of course accurate security measures to ensure they don't escape and kill someone (big lawsuit there if that happens). Please, don't buy a tiger, even if it is allowed in some states. I love tigers too, and leopards and cheetahs and all big cats, but the idea of owning one is just too far fetched and unreasonable. Maybe you could check at your nearest zoo to see if you can sponsor one of the tigers there. You pay a yearly donation to help with the upkeep of the cat, and often you can get special priveleges such as helping the zoo keeper feed the animals. That would be fun, too, huh?
