Yes! Look what we do to the planet everyday. Global warming, war, and pollution. We may not have made this planet but I am sure we will destroy it.

Frank L,forget about things you have no control over. Instead of this concern start thinking about all the different people, who may have a profound effect on your life. Or, what you are able to do to make someone Else's life better. Or that girl, if unmarried, that needs some of your attention. Yes Frank L, the world will end. Strangely enough, at the exact moment that your energy passes from your body into a new dimension

Everything that is composed will eventually decompose. However, the earth is not going to end any time soon. That doesn't mean that in the meantime, societies/civilizations won't end or new ones begin. Imagine living in Iraq, Palestine, Sudan, or Afghanistan right now. Those folks must feel like it is the end of the world. How could things get any worse for them?

Well, we know that about as much as we know how/when it started.
Everyone has an idea, but there's no way to tell for sure.
The Earth will definetly end someday, but some people take "world" to mean more than that...

Our system of things will shortly end -- when no one but God, Christ and most likely Satan knows.

Satan would have to know since he is the one that the Bible points to as the initiator of the event, Armageddon. The logical conclusion then is that the instigator of an event knows when he wants to start it.

Yes. I happen to believe it is foretold in Revelations. Additionally all stars eventually burn out, supernova destroying whatever is in the solar system.

I would like to hope not. I'm open to the possibility that we can somehow replenish the sun after trillions of years of advancing technology.
