Will that person have a big chance to survive ? I've heard that over 90 feet and up,water is simply a patch of concrete and if we land the way divers land such as some guys that jump off acapulco cliffs do,what difference does it make? Height? How they land? or what ? Please, clarify.

Imagine the waters surface as a gelatin, if you jump in it with weak kenetic force the energy that spreads out once you hit the surface spreads slowly and bounces back to slowly, so you get into the water with little to no resistance. But if you gain huge inertia and huge kenetic force then the energy can easily bounce back before your body can really enter the water, and the huge amount of energy can make the surface tension "like a slab of concrete" like the guy above me said. Just elaboratiing on what he said.

My cousin had a very bad experience some years ago as a kid,.. a mate of his he knew went to the local leisure centre with him,.. climbed to the top of the professional diving platforms,. jumped off and bellyflopped,.... needless to say the pool had to be immediately evacuated while they drained the pool and cleaned up the mess. The height of the platform wasn't any more than 10 metres (50 feet), but he landed so badly, it killed him instantly,. so imagine what'd happen if you jumped off the Golden Gate Bridge? Go figure.

No, at that height, physics makes the surface of water like a slab of concrete.

you of course would break the surface but not until you broke both arms and possibly your neck as well. And then you would drown for the lack of keeping afloat.

HAHA. No. The distance is much further. It'd still be the same. You'll die. Don't do it!
