No doubt i will not be chosen as your best answer.
The Constitution guarantees the rights that you enjoy everyday. While the US Constitution is imperfect in many ways, and while it continues to be eroded by politicians and ignorant citizens, it is still the best thing going.
One only has to live in any other country for a short while to appreciate the US Constitution. Especially in a country like China, Iran, North Korea, et al.
The real problem here is that you have never had to sacrifice a thing to enjoy the freedom that you take for granted. that sacrifice was made by a long line of American Patriots that came before you.
Sadly, you will read this with contempt as I cannot possibly be right.

No. And I think it's pointless for Politicians to run saying they support the Constitution. Well, I don't support a Constitution that continues to be void and nullified. What good is this document if it's done nothing to ensure our Rights? Judges and Congress and Executive Offices will do whatever they want and they've been doing whatever they want, Constitution or no Constitution. This Country is long over do a Military Que supported by the people. Only problem is, we're so damn divided that we can't have a Military Que without having civil unrest.

It does still exist. The problem is that a majority of Americans aren't protecting it which they are obligated to do. Screw what the politicians say etc., the constitution is golden.

The constitution exists in this country, of course.
The thing is, if you'd study the constitution they put loop holes in it so they can change it anytime they want...
Hence we have amendments.
So it still exists, it's simply being used.. I suppose you would say.

It exists as an historic relic. Bush has trampled every part of it. No one thought his breaking the laws in Texas was any big deal when he was running for office. I hope they now see that it was and is a big deal.
Our congress can give us back our constitution. Write your Senator and Representative.

Sure it does. Just because you don't get your way doesn't mean society is collapsing.
