A Japanese player, he is best known as the all-time home run champion of professional baseball. Oh hit a total of 868 dingers in his career with a lifetime batting average of .301 and retired at the age of 40. He went on to manage several teams in Japan, and currently manages the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks in the Nippon League.

The all-time leading home-run hitter in JAPAN. Far from the greatest home run hitter of all time though. That is just an uneducated, dumbass statement. His competition level was no were near our major leaguers and smaller ballparks. Had he been in over here playing he wouldn't be in the top 30 all-time.

Japenese all-time home run leader. Don't call him the greatest home run hitter of all-time, he played in an extremely small field with competition that didn't even compare with the MLB talent of that time.
