I am 35 weeks almost 36 and I have been to the hospital so many times and every time they run tests everything comes back great. But i have been getting so shaky. I will just be sitting on the couch and I will feel shaky. Has anyone ever had this before?

Thanks for your time!

Does this sound maybe like a Thyroid problem? Because I had them test for blood sugar and it came back normal.

If you just ate something, perhaps your blood sugar level is rising. Any time the glucose level changes quickly, you can feel shaky. Have you had a test for gestational diabetes?

I have never heard that shakiness is a part of thyroid problems. I always thought that the thyroid just caused problems with sleep. I too think the shakiness sounds like my gestational diabetes. Are you eating a little something every few hours. Maybe if you are going too long between meals you are having a big rise in your blood sugar level right after you eat. It can develop at any time so it may be that you JUST started having a problem with it.

Good Luck!

The only thing I can think of is your blood sugar may be too high. Do you get cranky all of a sudden after you eat? Do you also get sleepy? If you feel like this then I would have your Dr. run the glucose test again to check your glucose levels. I experienced the same thing, but I hade gestational diabetes. But if you have already ruled this out then I'm so sorry I couldn't help. Luckly you are only 4 weeks away. Hopefully someone else has a better answer. Good luck. :-(

I experienced that with my son from 3 days after conception until he was almost a month old. For me it was part of having hyper emises. I was shocked with my second pregnancy because I had always heard that each one was different but had no idea how different it could be. I also found out with my second that almost anything that you feel when you are pregnant is 99% related to your hormones at that stage of pregnancy.

I didn't give you an answer to why you are shaky but I hope you are a little bit more relaxed about it and understand that it really is normal to feel that way.

Good luck and congratulations!

There is a possibility that you could have gestational diabetes. You should go to your obgyn and talk to them about how you feel. Congrats and good luck!
